Editallied Limited (“we”, “us”) designs and develops mobile applications and related software. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
We collect only what the work requires:
- Contact details — your name, email address, telephone number and the organisation you represent.
- Project information — specifications, designs, documents and correspondence you send us about an app or an engagement.
- Technical data — server logs generated when you use this website, kept for security and diagnostics.
- Account data — where an engagement requires access to your repositories, store accounts or analytics, the minimum credentials or invitations needed to do the work.
We do not collect special category data and we do not buy personal information from third parties.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare an estimate.
- To deliver, test and release the software you have engaged us to build.
- To provide support after release and to keep you informed of progress.
- To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
- To protect our systems and detect misuse of the website.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where necessary: with cloud hosting, app store and analytics providers used on your project; with payment or accounting providers engaged for billing; and with professional advisers where required. These providers act on our instructions under contract. We do not sell personal information.
5. International transfers
Some providers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years from the last contact. Project records, including source materials at the client's request, are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as accounting and contractual obligations require, typically six years. Website logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, or provide it in a portable format. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. Any cookie used is strictly necessary for the site to function or to protect the contact form.
9. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport and routine backups, and we limit access to personal information to those who need it for the work. Source code, credentials and project data are held in access-controlled repositories and removed or returned at the end of an engagement.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.
